Bennington Parents is powered by parent volunteers, and every contribution makes a difference. Whether you have an hour to help at an event, want to take on a bigger role, or simply have an idea to share, there are lots of ways to get involved.

Volunteers help with:

• Events & Activities — Fun Fair, Halloween Haunt, Movie Night, Holiday Bazaar and more

• School Programs — Pizza & Hot Lunch, Yearbook, Spirit Wear and other initiatives

• Fundraising — helping us raise funds for student enrichment and experiences

• Behind the Scenes — communications, organizing, design, outreach and more​

No experience is needed, and there is no minimum time commitment. We will reach out with volunteer opportunities at various times throughout the year or reach out directly at bhhands@gmail.com for more information. Find a way to contribute that works for you!

How to Volunteer

​

All volunteers must complete a background check in accordance with TDSB requirements.To apply:

1. Contact Bennington Parents at bhhands@gmail.com. We will provide you with a volunteer letter signed by Ms. Danish.

2. Visit the Toronto Police Service police record check website.

3. Select Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (Level 2). This is the specific check required by the TDSB and is free with your volunteer letter.

4. Enter the requesting organization as Toronto District School Board
   Organization Code: 202309TPSOND7EFC

 

Once received, please send your completed check to bhhands@gmail.com.
